Our 4th Annual Inter Firm Charity Race day took place on Thursday 23rd May and was another wonderful event thanks to the support of so many of the business community in Limerick, Munster & beyond, who sponsored races, purchased corporate packages and/or donated some amazing raffle prizes..
Everyone in attendance were treated to some delicious BBQ food served by Fitzgerald’s Woodlands Hotel, followed by fantastic live music in the Greenmount suite. The evening offered an opportunity to network with other businesses and time to relax with friends at their own reserved seating followed by a fun packed summer’s day at the races.
In hurling & racing pundit TJ Ryan we had the perfect MC who gave some valuable tips & insights throughout the evening but also reminded everyone of the reason they were there and the difference their support would make to families on a very difficult journey with sick children.
There was a palpable air of excitement all evening for each of the 7 races as those companies who had their names allocated to horses, were cheering them on to cross the line 1st and be in with a chance of taking the overall prize of a Corporate Package for 30 at the races.
The final race was an exciting and close one with the lead changing reins on a number of occasions.
But it was the horse allocated to Ei Electronics that finished strong much to the delight of Mick Guinee & his team who will be back again to enjoy further hospitality as part of their prize.
