2024 International Rose of Tralee Keely O’Grady to host Cliona’s Foundation Inaugural Ball Friday July 4th at The Castletroy Park Hotel after walking the Camino in solidarity with families of sick children all over Ireland in June.

This year’s International Rose Keely O’Grady is now an Ambassador for Clionas Foundation and will be joining a cohort of Roses and Rose Escorts in walking the Camino to raise funds and awareness this June. All funds raised will go directly to providing financial support to the families that Cliona’s support.
Keely, will join fellow Roses and Rose Escorts this June as they take on a section of the world-renowned Camino de Santiago, walking in solidarity with families of seriously ill children across Ireland.
Speaking at the launch of the fundraising drive Keely said “I am so proud that part of my role as the 2024 Rose of Tralee is to work together with Cliona’s Foundation as an ambassador. This coming June I am excited to lead a group of the Rose of Tralee class of 2024 as we tackle 120kms of the Camino to walk in solidarity with seriously sick children. Cliona’s is a really important cause that is close to a lot of our hearts. I believe the work they do is a vital lifeline to so many families caring for a seriously sick child across Ireland so please give what you can to help.”
The “Rose Camino” brings together participants of the Rose of Tralee International Festival in a heartfelt journey of hope, connection, and purpose. Each step taken by the group represents the thousands of Irish families navigating the emotional and financial challenges that come with having a seriously sick child.
Funds raised will go directly to Cliona’s Foundation, helping to ease the non-medical financial burden that families face, such as travel, accommodation, and everyday household costs.
Keely, the 2024 Rose of Tralee, is also lending her support off the Camino path by hosting Cliona’s inaugural Summer Gala on Friday, July 4th at the Castletroy Park Hotel in Limerick. The evening promises glamour, entertainment, and impact, as supporters come together to raise vital funds for this life-changing cause.
