Cliona’s Foundation Cycle club launched the charity’s 9th Annual Cliona’s Foundation Fundraising Cycle which will take place this year on Saturday August 27th. The cycle which has become a popular date in the diary of many cyclists will start as usual from Bruff Rugby Club, just 25km from Limerick city.

With three routes including a 10km for kiddies, a 40km family/leisure cycle and the 90km Cliona’s Challenge the event caters for cyclists of all levels of ability. On finishing the cycle participants and onlookers can look forward to plenty of food from the famous BBQ and live music, while the kids will be kept entertained with face painting, a bouncy castle and more.

For the ladies who don’t fancy hopping on a bike, there will be a limited stock of previously-loved designer clothes on sale from 10am in the Rugby Club.

To take part in this year’s cycle you can register online by logging onto www.eventmaster.ie or on the day with registration starting at 8.30am for all routes.

Registration fee includes the BBQ and entertainment. Sponsorship cards are available by contacting Cliona’s Foundation on 061-331333. Sponsorship Cards with €100 or more raised will be included in a draw for a €250 cycling voucher. For more information on registration visit www.eventmaster.ie.
