Over the past 10 years Cliona’s Foundation has been able to support over 400 families across Ireland.
All of these families are coping with a child and in some cases 2 children with a life limiting condition.
Caring for their sick child becomes the main focus for these families which in turn brings enormous stress to bear on all aspects of family life.
Recently with the fantastic support and honesty of two of our families we were able to share how other children in the family are affected and react and how the funding we provide can help alleviate some of the pressure that is felt in the home.
It is not always easy for families to open their hearts and reveal that they received assistance , so we are very grateful to both the Water & Gardiner families for sharing their story so far with us.
