Beautiful Sarah Crowe (12 years) from Kilfinane, Co. Limerick died at lunchtime today (22/03/2016) after a hard fought battle with Alpers Disease. Sarah was at home with her family. She was diagnosed approx. 9 years ago with this rare neurological condition for which there is still no cure. Sarah was a fantastic Ambassador for Cliona’s Foundation and featured many times over the years on our website, Facebook page, at several of our fundraising events and innumerous newspaper & magazine articles. Sarah was hugely popular when she appeared on stage at Stars Choirs & Carols in Croke Park with Miriam O’Callaghan in December 2013. Our deepest condolences to her wonderful parents David & Mary and her devoted brother Jimmy, with love, Terry, Brendan & all involved in Cliona’s Foundation xx
